Lane Garrison was born May 23, 1980 in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to become an actor. During his first day in LA he was spooted by an agent who sent him for an audition for a commercial which he later got.
Lane's big break was in 2005 when he was cast as David 'Tweener' Apolskis on the TV series Prison Break.

At the age of 17 he moved in with his minister, Joe Simpson (father of stars Jessica and Ashley Simpson).
Lane went to prison in 2007 following a vehicular manslaughter charge.
He was released from prison in April 2009 for good behaviour and enrolled himself into a rehabilitation center.
